Brings over two decades of experience in the mining industry. His leadership is underpinned by deep technical expertise, operational excellence and a strong commitment to delivering value for clients and stakeholders.
His career spans major industry players, where he held senior roles in underground and opencast mining operations, equipping him with the insight and capability to lead complex projects and build sustainable business partnerships.
With over 40 years of experience in the mining sector, Allan has held senior management roles across mining houses, operational mines and mining services industry. He served as Director of Business Development at Murray & Roberts Cementation from 2005 until 2023.
Allan has joined AmandlaTM Group as New Business Director, bringing extensive experience in the gold, copper and platinum sectors.
He holds qualifications in both electrical and mechanical engineering, and has completed management programmes at Wits Business School. Allan is actively involved in setting international shaft sinking standards and is affiliated with the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Sfiso is an experienced Mine Engineer with over 25 years of expertise in both open-cast and underground mining operations. Throughout his career he has progressed through a wide range of technical and leadership roles, including Artisan, Foreman, Maintenance Coordinator, Section Engineer, Projects Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Engineering Manager, and currently Senior Engineering Manager.
His expertise spans across leading mining organisations such as BHP Billiton, South32, Anglo American Coal Division, Universal Coal, Mbuyelo Group, and currently AmandlaTM Group.
Over the years he has developed strong capabilities in engineering management, maintenance strategy, reliability engineering, project execution, operational optimisation, asset management, and leadership within complex mining environments. His career has been built on driving operational excellence, improving equipment reliability, enhancing safety performance, and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve sustainable business results.
A seasoned Coal Mining Engineer and Contract Mining Specialist with extensive experience in underground coal operations, production management, and project delivery. Holding a B.Eng in Mining Engineering and a formal Project Management qualification, Tshepo brings strong technical, operational, and strategic expertise across the full mining cycle — from greenfields development to production ramp-up and mine turnaround projects.
Specialising in bord and pillar and longwall operations, his expertise includes safety management systems, operational optimisation, cost control, project execution, and sustainable production performance. Tshepo has successfully led mining operations within major corporate environments and remains committed to delivering safe, efficient, and commercially sustainable outcomes.
Passionate about people development, he trained, coached, and mentored operators, learners, graduates, and mining professionals throughout his career, helping develop future industry leaders across the coal mining sector.
